Ooni is an outdoor pizza oven company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ooni launched the world's first portable wood-pellet-fired pizza oven in 2012. The company today employs more than 100 people around the world. In 2018 the company officially changed its name to Ooni from its previous name of Uuni.[14] 'Uuni' means 'oven' in Finnish.
