This ice machine can produce up to 70 kg (154 lbs) of flake ice daily. Apart from producing ice flakes, it can also store up to 25 kg (55 lbs) through its built-in storage. The AF80AS is built electronically controlled operation, with self-diagnostic functions and external alarm lights which can provide you with an early alert and fast diagnosis of any operating issues.

This flake ice maker comes with a pressure-based water level monitoring system that works for both standard, distilled or demineralised water. With the AF80AS, you get to produce flake ice in its most natural form, made at a temperature just below zero degrees Celsius, containing 25% residual water content which makes it very moist.

With this machine’s plug-n-play configuration, installing the unit right out of the box will be easy – just connect the incoming water line and water discharge and your Scotsman unit is all set to produce flake ice for you!

The external components of the AF80AS are constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, crafted for optimal aesthetic appeal through superior fit and finish. This machine is designed with an ergonomically convenient, slanted & disappearing storage bin door, making it easy to access stored flake ice.

For easier maintenance, all the essential components of AF80AS are accessible on the front, including the front-in, front-out airflow, which makes built-in installations easy. The molded plastics parts have AgION antimicrobial agent to help maintain quality and cleanliness of your ice cubes. It comes with 120 mm (4 3/4”) legs included and the extensions are available as an option. The AF80AS uses CFC-free R-134a refrigerant.
