Made of NSF Standard 42 and/or FDA CFR-21 compliant materials, this efficient water filter system reduces scale formation by the controlled release of proprietary scale inhibitors as
tested tested and verified by 3M’s laboratory to Standard 53 for cyst reduction (HF20-MS replacement cartridge).
For easier and trouble-free cartridge change-outs, the valve-in-head is designed to simultaneously shut off and vent water, eliminating the need to shut off the upstream feed water while changing cartridges. The Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) encapsulated cartridge design makes cartridge change-outs fast and easy with a 1/4 turn. Filter cartridges incorporate carbon block filtration medium and scale inhibitor and require no pre-activation.
Connections to existing plumbing lines are direct or easily adaptable with the system’s 3/8” FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports. The optional pressure gauge will let you monitor downstream water pressure. The BREW120-MS includes a head assembly with integral mounting bracket and a single o-ring seal type cartridge filter. The system’s maximum operating pressure is 125 psi (862 kPa) and maximum operating temperature is 100°F (37.8°C).
